Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Sage, the personal AI assistant available at https://app.sage.fyi, and of this website. By using Sage you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Accounts and access

Sage is offered to invited users and to members of workspaces that have been provisioned for it. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly at support@sage.fyi if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your content

You keep ownership of the messages, files, and other content you bring to Sage. You grant us the limited right to store, process, and transmit that content as needed to operate the service for you — including sending the relevant parts to the AI model providers that generate responses, and to third-party services you have connected. We do not use your content to train generalized AI models. Our handling of your information is described in the privacy policy.

Connected services

When you connect an account such as Google or GitHub, you authorize Sage to act in that account on your behalf, within the permissions you granted, in response to your instructions. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms. You can disconnect any service at any time. Actions the assistant takes at your direction — sending an email, changing a calendar event, writing a file — are your actions; review anything consequential before you ask for it, and note that AI assistants can misunderstand instructions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Sage to:

  • break the law, infringe someone’s rights, or violate another service’s terms;
  • send spam, bulk marketing, or deceptive messages;
  • access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorized to access;
  • generate material that sexually exploits children, or content intended to harass, defraud, or endanger people;
  • attack, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the limits and security controls of the service or its infrastructure; or
  • resell the service or use it to build a competing product from our infrastructure.

AI output

Sage generates responses with large language models. Output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and identical prompts can produce different answers. It is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Check anything you intend to rely on.

Availability and changes

The service is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features, impose usage limits, and take the service offline for maintenance. We aim to give notice of significant changes, but we do not promise any particular level of availability.

Termination

You may stop using Sage at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if your use puts the service or other users at risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability — do.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising out of your use of Sage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will revise the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use Sage after an update means you accept the revised terms.
